The ratio of renewable energy is app. 28% in total energy consumption which will drop to around 2,5%, if the hydroelectric resources are removed. The Strategic Plan published by the Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources targets to increase this ratio to 30% by 2023. Although there is not a specific target for solar thermal yet, the amount of installed capacity for PV is foreseen as 3000 MW.
