Safety, Comfort, Service and reliability
The first 3 flights have departed Abidjan. If for the
first departure there were some logistics problems
with the transfer of the pilgrims from the mosque
to the airport, the departures 2 and 3 were just
perfect and very much on time.

“THE DESSERT BLOOM”
CEO’S NOTE
Salam Sejahtera,
Capt Azlan Zainal
Abidin
President/
Chief Executive Officer
“Harum semerbak si bunga mawar,
Welcome to our first edition of
The Eagle News. I feel
privileged to be writing this
message as the Chief Executive
Officer. Objectively, The Eagle
News provides us with the
insight
information
about
company’s current and future
affair with regards to business
activities and staff welfares. On
Cantik tersisip di sanggul puteri jelita,
Jalur gemilang megah berkibar,
Bersama Eaglexpress merentasi benua.”
AhlanWasahlan and warm greetings from Jeddah,
It is indeed very heartening to see much enthusiasm within the Eagle family when we were
deployed to Jeddah to commence our 2ndHajj operations for NAS Air. Despite a tinge of
sadness leaving behind loved ones, including the Eagle family, we slowly were able to get over
it due to the camaraderie that is generated within our living quarters here in Jeddah.
the other note, with the publication of The Eagle News, I
optimistically have a great hope that we can close the gap
between the management and staffs by sharing the ideas,
views, feelings and resourceful information towards the
betterment of Eaglexpress Air Charter Sdn Bhd.
This initiative undertaken by the editorial team back in Ara to create the Eagle News is very
timely as it will be the bridge between staff and management, the link that will be bring closer
every member of the Organization, though separated by geographical locations.
“Rome was not built in one day”, the only word that can
make us intact is “togetherness”, and the only word that can
make us apart is “disunity”. I pledge with my sincere heart,
let’s we all hold our hands together to build our own
journey of success. With the Hajj operation 2013 is
progressing well and other promising businesses ahead, I
am positive, Eaglexpress is at the right runaway to take off
to the blue sky.
I have chosen “The Desert Bloom” as the topic that I want to share with all of you in my first
message. The flowers above are one of the many that I found within our compound. Not only it
is blooming beautifully, it adds colour to a dull environment…but do you all ever wonder, how
did these flowers bloom so wonderfully bright despite being in the hot desert weather? Well,
they are being “nurtured” with tender loving care by the gardeners, being watered and given the
proper dosage of fertilizers…that’s why they are so “healthy”!
The Eagle News shall be an interactive e-communication
media whereby all the staffs are welcomed to drop their
writings, cartoon sketch, articles, suggestions and etc to be
published in The Eagle News on the quarterly basis. I
believe many of us have the hidden talent but yet to shine
out and being recognized. Thus, take this as an opportunity
to polish your talent and share with us.
Using the above analogy, Eaglexpress, will grow beautifully, just like the flowers, if it is
nurtured and cared for by each and every one of us. Give as much as you can to enrich the
Organization, serve our customers well, so that in return they will
reciprocate by staying on with us. This is how we help the airline to
grow…give your utmost contribution, serve with your hearts and
stay focus in promoting the Company’s objectives, despite the
constant challenges and constraints that we face everyday. Along
the way if anyone falters, pull him along and help him stay up and
move alongside so that together, we make Eaglexpress greater!
Last but not least, I wish the editorial team good luck and I
hope The Eagle News enables to unite us as one team in
one big organisation.
Yes! Together we can make Eagle to fly higher!

8 Simple Ways to Control Stress!
Simple modifications in posture, habits, thought, and behavior often go a long way toward reducing feelings of stress and
tension. Here are 8 quick and simple things you can do immediately to help keep your stress level under control.
1. Control Your Anger:
Watch for the next instance in which you find yourself becoming annoyed or angry at something trivial or unimportant,
then practice letting go - make a conscious choice not to become angry or upset. Do not allow yourself to waste
thought and energy where it isn't deserved. Effective anger management is a tried-and-true stress reducer.
2. Breathe:
Breathe slowly and deeply. Before reacting to the next stressful occurrence, take three deep breaths and release them
slowly. If you have a few minutes, try out breathing exercises such as meditation or guided imagery.
3. Slow Down:
Whenever you feel overwhelmed by stress, practice speaking more slowly than usual. You'll find that you think more
clearly and react more reasonably to stressful situations. Stressed people tend to speak fast and breathlessly; by
slowing down your speech you'll also appear less anxious and more in control of any situation.
4. Complete One Simple Thing To Do:
Jump start an effective time management strategy. Choose one simple thing you have been putting off (e.g. returning a
phone call, making a doctor's appointment) and do it immediately. Just taking care of one nagging responsibility can be
energizing and can improve your attitude.
5. Get Some Fresh Air:
Get outdoors for a brief break. Our grandparents were right about the healing power of fresh air. Don't be deterred by
foul weather or a full schedule. Even five minutes on a balcony or terrace can be rejuvenating.
6. Avoid Hunger and Dehydration:
Drink plenty of water and eat small, nutritious snacks. Hunger and dehydration, even before you're aware of them, can
provoke aggressiveness and exacerbate feelings of anxiety and stress.
7. Do a Quick Posture Check:
Hold your head and shoulders upright and avoid stooping or slumping. Bad posture can lead to muscle tension, pain,
and increased stress.
8. Recharge at the Day’s End:
Plan something rewarding for the end of your stressful day, even if only a relaxing bath or half an hour with a good
book. Put aside work, housekeeping or family concerns for a brief period before bedtime and allow yourself to fully
relax. Don't spend this time planning tomorrow's schedule or doing chores you didn't get around to during the day.
Remember that you need time to recharge and energize yourself - you'll be much better prepared to face another
stressful day.
If the above doesn’t apply
